South Wales Police have been accused of being ‘too busy’ to take a statement from a cyclist who was shot with a pellet gun. The force has since said the victim has been spoken to and the investigation is continuing.
A photo of the cyclist’s wound was tweeted by Leon Evans together with the allegation that officers were ‘too busy’.

Evans later clarified that he was not the victim, but said he believed the incident had taken place at “Wentloog flats on the way to Newport.”
South Wales Police later tweeted:
@Guyver1_ We have dealt with an incident involving a pellet gun however the victim has been spoken to and investigation is continuing
